Let the circulation run for one hour. After one hour, shut the pump off and let sit overnight.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e5. Before turning the pump back on, brush the pool walls and floor thoroughly.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e6. Turn the pump back on and add Metalfree™ evenly to the pool around the edge at a rate of 33.9oz per 20,000 gallons.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e7. With the pump still on, vacuum the pool walls and floor thoroughly.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e8. After vacuuming, clean filters:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSand filter- backwash for at least 3 minutes and then rinse for 2 minutes\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCartridge filter- clean filter and filter tank thoroughly\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDE filter- backwash and recharge with DE\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e9.
