If your filter is failing to purge trapped air from the tank or is showing signs of air lock, this is the direct replacement component for that system.

The air bleed tube assembly channels trapped air from inside the filter tank to the manual air relief valve, allowing the system to vent properly during startup and after cartridge service. A damaged or degraded tube assembly can prevent the air relief from functioning correctly, leading to air pockets in the system, erratic pressure gauge readings, and reduced filtration flow. Replacing this assembly restores proper venting function and ensures accurate pressure readings during normal operation.

Specifications

Pentair Part Number

170030

Part Name

Air Bleed Tube Assembly 240 sq. ft.

Quantity Included

1 (Each)

Fits Into

Brand

Equipment Line

Model / Part Number

Notes

Pentair

Clean & Clear Plus Filter — Clean & Clear Plus Series

CLEAN & CLEAR PLUS 240

240 sq. ft. model only

Compatibility is based on Pentair parts documentation and available OEM records. Clean & Clear Plus — this tube assembly is sized specifically for that tank configuration and is not interchangeable with other Clean & Clear Plus capacities. The model number is printed on the filter label. When replacing this assembly, inspect the manual air relief valve and its O-ring at the same time — if the tube is degraded, the relief valve components are likely due for service as well.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0920/0687/5411/files/pentair-air-bleed-tube-assembly-240-sq-ft-clean-clear-plus-filter-170030-4.webp?v=1790805957
