This bracket is the structural locating component that indexes and holds the valve handle in each named flow position — keeping your valve aligned and operating as designed.

What It Does

The position bracket provides the mechanical detent structure that locks the slide valve handle into each operating position (Filter, Backwash, Rinse, etc.). A cracked or broken bracket allows the handle to slip between positions, resulting in mixed flow paths and loss of filtration or backwash effectiveness. Replacing this bracket restores precise, positive position engagement.

Specifications

Pentair Part Number

273064

Also Known As / Legacy Brand

Pentair (formerly Sta-Rite)

Material

Polycarbonate

Fits Valve Size

2"

Quantity Included

1

Fits Into

Brand

Equipment Line

Model / Part Number

Notes

Pentair (formerly Sta-Rite)

2" PVC Slide Multiport Valve

261047

Verify fitment before ordering

Pentair (formerly Sta-Rite)

2" PVC Slide Multiport Valve

261165

Verify fitment before ordering

Compatibility is based on Pentair parts documentation and available OEM records. This is not an exhaustive list. For certainty, verify the part number in your equipment's manual or on the original part itself before ordering.

Pro Tip

Before ordering, inspect the position bracket on your existing valve for the Pentair part number moulded into the plastic — confirm it matches 273064. Slide valve position brackets are valve-model-specific; a bracket from a different valve model may appear similar but will not index correctly. While the valve is disassembled for this repair, inspect the slide O-rings and valve body for wear and replace them at the same time to avoid a repeat service call.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0920/0687/5411/files/pentair-polycarbonate-slide-valve-position-bracket-sta-rite-2-pvc-slide-multiport-valve-273064.webp?v=1790885025
