It screens debris from the air bleed path, preventing particulate from obstructing the manual air relief valve and ensuring air can be properly purged from the filter housing during startup and backwash cycles. A clogged or damaged strainer can impair air release, leading to air lock conditions that reduce filter performance.

Specifications

Pentair Part Number

55024400

Quantity Included

Each

Fits Into

This air bleed strainer is made to fit into Pentair Predator fiberglass pool and spa cartridge filter models CC100, CC150, CC200, CC50, CC75.

Pro Tip

When servicing the air relief assembly on your Predator filter, inspect the strainer for cracks, deformation, or embedded debris. If the manual air relief valve has been difficult to operate or slow to release air, a blocked strainer is a common cause. Match the part number stamped or molded on your existing strainer to 55024400 before ordering to confirm fitment.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0920/0687/5411/files/pentair-eclipse-air-bleed-strainer-predator-fiberglass-cartridge-filter-55024400-1.webp?v=1790876918
