When your pool looks milky or hazy, it's usually because tiny particles — dead algae, dust, body oils, fine debris — are suspended in the water. They're too small for your filter to catch, so they just float there making your water look gross.
We recommend vacuum to waste, as if you vacuum to filter, you will likely only recirculate the particulates - the filter will likely not catch them.
Your pump should be off or on low circulation after dosing to let everything settle (usually 24–48 hours).
