GLI steel installation rod used to connect the pool safety cover springs over the anchor bolts, with a textured grip. This is the universal installation rod for all GLI safety covers and works with many other brands.

For installation, slip the looped round end of the spring, place the end of the rod over the anchor bolt in the open position. Stand facing the pool and pull the rod toward you in a controlled motion so that the spring slips down the rod and onto the anchor bolt, tighten the anchor bolt closed with the anchor key.
