The Hayward Slide Valve Assembly (SP0410X502S) is the OEM replacement 2" slide valve assembly for Hayward ProGrid DE Filters.

What It Does

This slide valve assembly controls access to the filter's internal grid assembly and manages air release during startup and priming. The one-piece clamp design allows quick, tamper-proof access to internal filter components without disturbing existing plumbing connections, while the built-in manual air relief valve bleeds trapped air with a quarter turn of the lever. The assembly's 2" full-flow internal piping matches the flow characteristics of grid D.E. and M.E. cartridge filters for minimal flow resistance.
