The Hayward Nut Assembly PVC (SPX0722D) is the OEM replacement PVC nut assembly for Hayward Trimline 2-way ball valves, restoring a secure, leak-free seal at the valve bonnet.
This PVC nut assembly clamps the valve bonnet to the valve body, maintaining the internal sealing components in their correct position during operation. Replacing a cracked, stripped, or deteriorated nut assembly returns the valve to factory-specification clamping force and prevents bypass leakage around the stem.

Before installing the replacement nut assembly, inspect the valve bonnet O-ring and any internal seals for wear or deformation — these components are often disturbed during bonnet removal and are inexpensive to replace at the same time. Hand-tighten the nut assembly until snug, then apply only firm hand pressure to seat it; over-torquing PVC threads can crack the valve body.
