The Hayward Cover Cap (CLX200C) is the OEM replacement cover cap for the Hayward CL200 and CL220 series automatic chlorine and bromine feeders.
This cap seals the top of the feeder body, maintaining a secure, chemical-tight closure during operation. Replacing a cracked, stripped, or missing cover cap restores the feeder's ability to regulate chemical dissolution and prevents uncontrolled chemical release.

When replacing the cover cap, inspect the cap's internal O-ring or sealing surface at the same time. A worn or deformed seal is the most common cause of chemical feeder leaks. If the cap seats but still allows water or chemical weeping around the closure, replace the associated O-ring before returning the feeder to service.
