The Hayward Clamp Nut and Bolt (DEX2421J2) is the OEM replacement fastener hardware for the tank clamp assembly on Hayward SwimClear Multi-Element Cartridge Filters and ProGrid DE Filters.
This nut and bolt secures the tank clamp band that holds the filter's upper and lower tank halves together under operating pressure. Replacing worn, corroded, or stripped clamp hardware restores a proper seal at the tank split line and ensures the clamp can be torqued correctly during reassembly after routine servicing.
