The Hayward Main Turbine Bearings (AXV055P) are the OEM replacement bearings for the Navigator Pro and PoolVac XL automatic suction cleaners, sold as a pack of two.
The main turbine bearings support the turbine shaft inside the cleaner's drive assembly, allowing the turbine to spin freely as water flows through the unit. Worn or seized bearings reduce turbine speed, causing the cleaner to lose drive power and move erratically across the pool surface. When the turbine bearings wear out, inspect the turbine itself for scoring or surface damage at the same time. Replacing bearings into a damaged turbine housing shortens the life of the new bearings significantly. If the cleaner has been running rough for an extended period, replacing both the bearings and the turbine together in a single service call is the more cost-effective approach.
