When replacing flex tubes, inspect the tube sheet and manifold o-rings at the same time — a worn o-ring at the manifold can allow DE powder to pass through to the pool even with new tubes installed. After reassembly, perform a full bump cycle before returning the filter to service to ensure the DE coats the new tubes evenly.
