Poolaroo Pro Tip
When replacing the pressure gauge, apply PTFE thread tape to the 1/4" male threads before installation to ensure a water-tight seal and prevent gauge creep. Note the baseline pressure reading immediately after a clean backwash or cartridge rinse — when the reading climbs 8–10 psi above that baseline during normal operation, it's time to service the filter media.
