About This Item
The Hayward PSV Valve Key/Cover O-Ring Kit (PSXVZ2A) is the OEM replacement O-ring kit for the PSV Series two-port and three-port diverter valves in both PVC and CPVC configurations.
IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate this O-ring kit with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. Browse our Pool Plumbing Lubricants for a compatible silicone lubricant.
This kit seals the key and cover assembly of the PSV diverter valve, preventing water bypass and maintaining positive flow direction control. Replacing worn or degraded O-rings restores a leak-free seal at the valve key and cover interface, which is the most common service point on this valve design.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
When servicing a PSV diverter valve, clean the key and cover seating surfaces before fitting the new O-rings. Apply a thin, even coat of silicone-based lubricant — never petroleum-based grease, which degrades rubber — to each O-ring before assembly. This prevents tearing during installation and extends seal life. Browse Pool Plumbing Lubricants for a compatible silicone lubricant.
