When replacing the impeller ring, inspect the impeller itself for erosion or cracking before reassembly. Replacing a worn impeller ring against a damaged impeller will not restore full pump performance. Note that the position reference in the exploded diagram differs between TriStar VS/VS-C models (position #11) and TriStar XE and TriStar VS 815/820 models (position #9) — confirm your diagram version matches your specific pump model before ordering.
