The Hayward Round Skimmer Cover (SPX1084R) is the OEM replacement round lid for Hayward Auto-Skim skimmers used in concrete, vinyl, and fiberglass pool installations.
This round lid seats over the skimmer body to protect the basket and weir assembly from debris, UV exposure, and foot traffic while maintaining deck-level access for routine maintenance. Replacing a cracked, warped, or missing lid restores the skimmer's protective function and keeps the deck surface safe.

Many Hayward Auto-Skim skimmer bodies are available with either a square or a round lid — confirm the shape of your existing lid before ordering. The SPX1084R is the round version; if your skimmer currently uses a square lid, a different replacement part number applies. Check your skimmer model number on the inside of the skimmer body or on the original installation paperwork to make sure you're ordering the correct lid shape.
