The Hayward Skim-Vac Large (SP1106) is the OEM replacement skimmer vacuum plate for Hayward in-ground pool skimmers, featuring a 1-1/2-inch straight adapter for direct vacuum hose connection.
The Skim-Vac plate seats over the skimmer basket inside the skimmer body, routing vacuum suction through the skimmer rather than through the pump strainer basket. This eliminates the need to shut the pump off when connecting or disconnecting the vacuum hose — simply attach the vacuum hose through the skimmer opening and begin vacuuming without interrupting circulation.
