The Hayward Weir Assembly (SPX1096K) is the OEM replacement weir door for Hayward's Auto-Skim, Dyna-Skim, and Front Access skimmer lines, restoring the floating flap that regulates surface water flow into the skimmer throat.
The weir door floats on the water surface to maintain a thin, high-velocity draw that captures surface debris efficiently. When the pump shuts off, the weir drops to retain water in the skimmer basket and prevent air from entering the suction line.
