About This Item
The Hayward Spring Washer Set of 2 (SPX0710Z62) is the OEM replacement spring washer kit for Hayward VariFlo and SelectaFlo multiport valve assemblies.
IMPORTANT: KIT CONTAINS 2 SPRING WASHERS
This listing includes a set of 2 spring washers. Confirm the quantity required for your specific valve model before ordering.
The spring washer maintains the correct preload and tension on the valve rotor assembly, ensuring the multiport handle seats positively in each port position and the valve operates without leaking between positions.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
When servicing a VariFlo or SelectaFlo valve, inspect the spring washers any time the valve handle is stiff, fails to click positively into position, or the valve leaks between ports. Worn or fatigued spring washers are a common cause of handle feel deterioration and inter-port seepage in multiport valves. Replacing them as a set during a valve rebuild ensures even tension and restores a positive detent feel to the handle.
