Before ordering, pull your existing cartridge and measure it — length and outer diameter are the two numbers that matter most for a correct fit. When it's time to clean, rinse the pleats with a garden hose from top to bottom (never a pressure washer, which damages the filter fabric). For oils and sunscreen buildup that hosing alone won't shift, an overnight soak in a dedicated cartridge cleaning solution will restore flow significantly better than rinsing alone. Plan on replacing the CX100XRE every 1–3 seasons depending on bather load and how consistently the filter is cleaned.
