What It Does
The RCX70100 is the complete internal filter cartridge assembly housed inside the TigerShark cleaner body. As the robot vacuums, pool water passes through this cartridge assembly, trapping debris before the cleaned water is returned to the pool. After every few cleaning cycles, remove the RCX70100 assembly and rinse it thoroughly with a garden hose, working top to bottom to flush debris out of the filter media. Avoid pressure washers, which can damage the filter media and reduce its service life. If the assembly looks grey or discoloured even after rinsing, a soak in a dedicated filter cartridge cleaner will break down embedded oils and sunscreen residue and restore capture efficiency.
