The Hayward Seal Assembly (SPX3200SA) is the OEM replacement shaft seal for TriStar and TriStar VS series pumps, restoring the watertight integrity between the pump's rotating shaft and the wet end housing.
The shaft seal prevents water from migrating along the motor shaft into the motor housing. When this seal wears or fails, water leaks at the seal plate area. Replacing the seal assembly with this OEM part returns the pump to factory-specification sealing performance.

When replacing the shaft seal, inspect the seal plate and motor bracket for scoring or mineral deposits before installing the new assembly. Even minor surface damage at the seal face can cause the replacement seal to fail prematurely. Always replace the shaft seal with the pump fully isolated from power and the system depressurised.
