About This Item
The Hayward VariFlo Side Mount Valve Assembly (SP0710X62) is the OEM replacement control valve for side-mount ProSeries sand filters, built with a 1-1/2" FIP connection.
This valve uses an easy-to-use lever action handle that lets you dial through the valve's control positions — filter, backwash, waste, rinse, closed, winter, and recirculate — to manage every stage of your sand filter's operating cycle. An integral sight glass lets you visually confirm when the backwash cycle has finished, so you're not guessing at cycle time or over-backwashing.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
The flange clamp mounting on this valve allows a full 360° of rotation before you tighten it down, so you can dial in the exact orientation that keeps your backwash and waste lines running clean before locking it into place — no need to force plumbing angles to match a fixed valve position.
