Before ordering, pull one of your existing elements and measure its length and outer diameter — confirm they match 32 13/16" × 7" to make sure you have the 525 sq ft SwimClear configuration and not a different SwimClear variant. When it's time to clean, rinse each cartridge with a garden hose working top-to-bottom between the pleats — never use a pressure washer, which can damage the filtration media. For a deeper clean after a heavy bather load or algae event, soak the elements overnight in a dedicated cartridge filter cleaner to dissolve embedded oils and sunscreen before reinstalling. Because this filter runs four elements in parallel, always replace the full set at once: mixing old and new cartridges creates uneven resistance across the element bank, reducing both flow and filtration efficiency.
