About This Item
The Hayward Cartridge Elements 4-Pack (CX591XREPAK4) is the OEM replacement filter cartridge set for the SwimClear Multi-Element Cartridge Filter (C7030), delivering 725 sq ft of filtration area across four matched elements in a single purchase.
IMPORTANT: MULTI-ELEMENT FILTER — FULL SET REPLACEMENT
The SwimClear C7030 uses four cartridge elements simultaneously. CX591XREPAK4 supplies the complete set of four. Always replace all elements at the same time to maintain balanced flow and even filtration performance across the filter tank.
Each element in this four-pack works in concert inside the SwimClear C7030 cartridge filter to capture dirt, debris, and fine particulates from pool water. Together, the four elements deliver the full 725 sq ft of rated filtration area the C7030 requires for peak performance. When one element loads faster than the rest — or wears unevenly over seasons — the entire filter suffers reduced flow and shorter cleaning cycles. Replacing all four at once with this matched OEM set restores the filter to its original Hayward-rated specification.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
Before installing the new set, measure one of your old elements against the specifications above to confirm you've been running the correct element for your filter. When cleaning between replacements, rinse pleats gently with a garden hose — never use a pressure washer, which compresses the media and permanently reduces flow. For filters in heavy-bather-load or heavily landscaped pools, a seasonal overnight soak in a dedicated cartridge filter cleaner will dissolve embedded oils and sunscreen that rinsing alone can't remove. Come replacement time, swap all four elements together — staggered replacements leave you with mismatched flow resistance across the element stack.
