The Hayward Filter Head O-Ring (CX900F) is the OEM replacement sealing O-ring for the filter head on Hayward StarClear Plus cartridge filters.
IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. Browse our Pool Plumbing Lubricants for a compatible silicone lubricant.
This O-ring seats at the filter head junction to create a watertight seal, preventing pressurised water from bypassing the cartridge element and escaping at the head. Replacing a worn, cracked, or deformed O-ring restores proper system pressure and eliminates leaks at the filter head.
