The clamp system secures the filter tank halves together and maintains a pressure-tight seal during operation. Replacing a worn or damaged clamp assembly restores the structural integrity of the filter housing and prevents pressurised water loss at the tank joint.

When replacing the clamp assembly, inspect the filter tank rim and mating groove for debris or scale buildup before seating the new seal. Even minor contamination at the joint can prevent the clamp from achieving a full pressure seal. Torque all hardware fasteners evenly in an alternating pattern to distribute clamping force uniformly around the tank circumference.
