Before ordering, confirm whether your heater is the FD (natural gas or propane forced-draft) variant — the model suffix matters. The "N" suffix denotes natural gas and the "P" suffix denotes propane. Both variants use this same ignitor kit, but confirming your model letter prefix (H150–H400) against the rating plate on the heater cabinet ensures the correct fit. Have a qualified technician verify the ignitor is the failed component before replacement, as similar startup failures can also originate from the gas valve or control board.
