The flow switch is a safety device that confirms water is actively flowing through the electrolytic cell before the control unit initiates chlorine generation. This replacement assembly — supplied without a tee — is designed to insert into an existing plumbing tee already installed in your system, restoring proper flow-detection function to your salt chlorinator or automation controller.

Before replacing the flow switch, verify the existing plumbing tee is clean and free of scale or debris — a clogged tee port is a common cause of premature flow switch failure and nuisance "no flow" fault codes. If you are also replacing the tee, the GLX-FLO-T kit (flow switch with tee) is the appropriate assembly. Confirm your existing tee is in serviceable condition before ordering the no-tee replacement version.
