The Hayward Valve O-Ring (GMX600F) is the OEM replacement sealing O-ring for the VariFlo and VariFlo XL multiport control valves fitted to Hayward ProSeries sand filters and MaxFlo pump models.
IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. Browse our Pool Plumbing Lubricants for a compatible silicone lubricant.
This O-ring forms the pressure seal at its designated seating point within the multiport valve body, preventing water bypass and maintaining correct flow-path integrity during filtration, backwash, rinse, and waste cycles.

Before seating this O-ring, clean the groove thoroughly to remove any old rubber fragments or mineral deposits — even a small piece of debris can prevent a full seal and cause a leak to reappear immediately. Apply a thin, even coat of silicone-based lubricant to the O-ring before installation; never use petroleum-based products, which degrade rubber.
