About This Item
The Hayward Goldline GVA-24 is the 24-volt OEM replacement diverter valve actuator for Goldline pool and spa automation systems, designed to rotate 2-port or 3-port valves automatically to direct water flow on a programmed or controller-triggered schedule.
IMPORTANT: ELECTRICAL SAFETY — PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED
Electrical control components must be installed or replaced by a qualified electrician or certified pool technician. Do not attempt to wire or service this actuator without appropriate qualifications.
The GVA-24 drives 2-port and 3-port valves to redirect pool and spa water flow automatically — enabling programmable pool-to-spa switching, cleaner line activation, water feature control, and other valve-driven operations when connected to a compatible Goldline automation controller such as AquaLogic. An adjustable cam mechanism provides precise control over valve travel, with rotation of up to 180 degrees in 12.8-degree increments. A reverse switch is included. The manual override switch is mounted underneath the actuator body to minimise unintended adjustments.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
Before replacing the GVA-24, confirm the controller output is delivering the correct 24V signal — a faulty signal wire or failed transformer on the automation board can present as actuator failure. Verify cam positions are set to match your valve's open and closed stop points before powering the actuator for the first time after installation; incorrect cam positioning can cause the valve to over-travel and stress the valve body.
