About This Item

The Hayward Ignition Module (IDXMOD1930) is the OEM replacement ignition control component for Hayward H-Series pool heaters.

IMPORTANT: SAFETY — PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED
Gas and electrical heater components must be serviced by a licensed pool professional or qualified HVAC technician. Do not attempt to service gas or high-voltage components without proper certification.

This module manages the ignition sequence for the heater's burner assembly, controlling the timing and monitoring functions required to safely light and maintain the burner during heater operation.

Used on a Hayward Pool Products above ground H-Series pool heater, it is the master control. Processing operational information from other controls. If the ignitor does not light the burner within 10 seconds, the module will try for three tries at 60 sec intervals, then lock out for one hour.
