The Hayward Square Skimmer Cover (SPX1082EDGR) is the OEM replacement square lid for Hayward Auto-Skim skimmers — finished in Dark Gray to match dark gray skimmer installations on concrete and vinyl/fiberglass pools.

This cover is Dark Gray. Hayward Auto-Skim skimmers are also available in White. Verify the color of your existing skimmer lid before ordering to ensure a match.
This cover fits flush over the skimmer opening at the pool deck surface, providing access to the skimmer basket and weir assembly while protecting the skimmer body from debris and foot traffic. Replacing a cracked, warped, or faded lid restores both function and appearance to the skimmer installation.

When replacing a skimmer lid, inspect the deck collar and any retaining screws for corrosion or cracking at the same time. A warped or cracked deck collar can prevent even a new lid from seating flat, which allows debris to bypass the skimmer opening. Replace both together for a clean, weathertight fit.
