Poolaroo Pro Tip
When reassembling your skimmer, hand-tighten screws first to ensure all components are properly aligned before applying final torque. Over-tightening screws on plastic skimmer housings can crack the body or strip threads — snug and even is the goal. If any existing screws show signs of corrosion or thread damage, replacing the full set with SPX1084Z1A keeps all fasteners at the same service life.
