About This Item
The Hayward Pipe Plug with Gasket (SPX1700FGV) is the OEM replacement pipe plug and gasket kit for Hayward's automatic in-line and off-line chlorine and bromine feeder models.
IMPORTANT: KIT INCLUDES PLUG AND GASKET
This part ships as a kit containing the pipe plug and gasket together. Both components are included in a single purchase.
The pipe plug with gasket seals an unused port on compatible Hayward automatic chlorine and bromine feeders, preventing leaks and maintaining system pressure integrity. Replacing a worn, cracked, or leaking plug and gasket restores a proper watertight seal at that feeder port.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
When installing the replacement plug, hand-tighten the plug firmly against the seated gasket before applying any tool torque. Over-tightening can distort the gasket and create a new leak path rather than eliminate one. Inspect the port threads on the feeder body for any chemical deposits or damage before seating the new plug — a corroded thread will compromise even a fresh gasket seal.
