The Hayward Strainer Cover Kit (SPX2700DLS) is the OEM replacement strainer pot lid for the Hayward Super Pump strainer housing, restoring a secure, watertight seal to the pump's pre-filter strainer chamber.

The strainer cover seals the top of the pump's strainer pot, allowing you to access and clean the strainer basket while maintaining a pressure-tight closure during pump operation. Replacing a cracked, warped, or leaking strainer cover eliminates air intrusion at the pump inlet, which can cause loss of prime, reduced flow, and unnecessary wear on the pump seal.
