The Hayward Bulkhead Fitting (SX244PX) is the OEM replacement bulkhead fitting for Hayward ProSeries S244 and S311 sand filters manufactured after 1996.
This fitting seals the tank wall penetration where plumbing connections enter or exit the filter body, maintaining a watertight seal between the filter tank and the connected piping. Replacing a worn or cracked bulkhead fitting restores the pressure integrity of the filter tank at the connection point.
