About This Item
The Hayward Lid with O-Ring Assembly (AXW533AGR) is the OEM gray replacement lid and O-ring for the Hayward W530 and W560 Leaf/Debris Canisters, restoring a secure, watertight seal to the canister body.
IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate the included O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation to ensure a proper seal and extend O-ring life. Browse our Pool Plumbing Lubricants for a compatible silicone lubricant.
IMPORTANT: COLOR-SPECIFIC PART
This lid is Gray. Confirm the color of your existing canister lid before ordering, as Hayward offers this part in multiple colors.
This lid and O-ring assembly seals the top of the W530 or W560 leaf canister, preventing bypass of debris between cleaning cycles and maintaining suction integrity in the cleaner line. Replacing a cracked lid or degraded O-ring restores proper canister function and protects the pool pump from leaf and debris ingestion.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
Before fitting the new lid, clean the O-ring seating groove on the canister body to remove any grit or old lubricant residue. Apply a fresh coat of silicone-based lubricant — never petroleum-based grease — to the O-ring before threading the lid down. Find compatible lubricants in our Pool Plumbing Lubricants collection. A properly lubricated O-ring seats evenly and is far less likely to tear during installation or over repeated removal cycles.
