The Hayward Large Gear Drive (PVXH007) is the OEM replacement drive gear for Hayward AquaNaut and The PoolCleaner suction-side cleaners in both 2-wheel and 4-wheel configurations.
This gear transfers drive force within the cleaner's internal gear train, keeping the wheels turning at the correct rate and direction for consistent pool coverage. Replacing a worn or broken drive gear restores proper wheel engagement and forward/reverse movement to the cleaner.

When replacing the drive gear, inspect all adjacent gears in the gear train at the same time. A worn drive gear often accelerates wear on the gears it meshes with, and replacing only the failed component while leaving worn neighbours in place shortens the service life of the new gear. Confirm the position reference (v2 position #5 for AquaNaut models, v2 position #7 for The PoolCleaner models) against your cleaner's exploded diagram before disassembly to ensure you are targeting the correct gear.
