This plastic pipe plug seals the ¼" access port on Hayward VariFlo multiport valves. Replacing a damaged, stripped, or missing plug prevents water loss and maintains correct pressure within the valve body during filter operation.

Before installing the replacement plug, inspect the threaded port in the valve body for cracks or cross-threading. Hand-tighten the plastic plug firmly — do not use tools that could overtighten and crack the valve body. If the access port shows signs of leakage after installation, check that the plug thread size matches the ¼" port specification on your VariFlo valve model.
