What It Does
The folding lateral assembly sits at the base of the filter tank and distributes water evenly through the sand bed during the filtration cycle. It also collects filtered water and directs it back to the return line without allowing sand to pass through. Replacing a cracked or broken lateral restores proper flow distribution and prevents sand from entering the pool.
