The Hayward Pressure Gauge (ECX270861) is the OEM replacement filter pressure gauge for Hayward ProSeries Sand Filters and Perflex Extended-Cycle DE Filters.
This gauge threads into the filter tank's air relief/gauge port and provides a direct visual readout of operating pressure inside the filter. Monitoring this reading is how you determine when the filter tank needs backwashing (sand filters) or element cleaning (DE filters).
