The Jack’s Magic Stain ID Kit is the first step in performing a successful stain removal using the Jack’s Magic product system. Just run the five topical tests included in this pack that will accurately identify the stain and use what is suggested saving time and money in the long run.

Features and Benefits:
- The kit is setup to eliminate any guesswork in pool stain removal
- Pool temp should be 65-70 F degrees when testing. Do NOT test if your pool water is below 65F.
- Ensure your pool water is balanced before testing.
- Free & Total Available Chlorine between 1-3 ppm
- If Bromine sanitizer, between 2 - 6 ppm
- If Biguanide sanitizer, between 30 - 50 ppm
- pH from 7.0 - 7.4
- Total Alkalinity: 80 ppm or below
- Calcium Hardness: 200 - 400 ppm
- Cyanuric Acid (Stabilizer): Below 70 ppm
- Total Dissolved Solids Below 1200 ppm (except salt systems)
- If TDS is above parameters, recommend lowering pool level and adding fresh water to lower the ppm.
- Free & Total Available Chlorine between 1-3 ppm
Recommended Accessories for Testing
We recommend these items to help you test successfully and safely, using Jack's Magic Stain ID Kit.
- Pool Brush: Plastic or Algae wire brush, to clean test chemicals after each test.
- Elbow length gloves (optional): if you are reaching into the pool to contact the chemicals, other than the brush, you may want to use gloves to ensure the the safety of your hands. Always take care around pool chemicals.
