About This Item
Natural Chemistry Instant Pool Water Conditioner - 1 gal Bottle
Natural Chemistry's Instant Pool Water Conditioner is used for stabilizing chlorine from UV sunlight loss. It begins working to protect chlorine quickly as it disperses throughout the pool. Regular cyanuric acid can be acidic in concentrated contact and takes 4 to 7 days to dissolve completely. This slow dissolution can cause damage to pool surfaces or circulation systems if undissolved product sits in contact with equipment. Natural Chemistry's Instant Pool Water Conditioner uses sodium cyanurate (a salt form) and disperses rapidly, making it gentler on surfaces and equipment when used as directed.
Non-acidic formula protects surfaces and equipment
Disperses quickly - no waiting days for product to dissolve
Stabilizes chlorine from UV Sunlight loss
Features and Benefits:
- Liquid stabilizer that is much easier to add than traditional granular products
- Disperses quickly throughout pool water
- Non-acidic pH is gentle on surfaces and equipment
- Begins protecting chlorine as it circulates
Important Water Balance Information:
Target CYA Range: Maintain cyanuric acid levels between 30-50 ppm for optimal chlorine effectiveness. Do not exceed 80 ppm as this can reduce chlorine efficiency.
pH Effects: This product is alkaline and will raise your pool's pH and Total Alkalinity. After application, test your water and add pH decreaser (muriatic acid) as needed to return to the ideal range of 7.2-7.8.
Temporary Cloudiness: Product may cause temporary cloudiness that typically clears within 24-48 hours with normal filtration and circulation.
Over-Stabilization Warning: Test CYA levels before application. The only way to reduce excess CYA is through partial pool draining and refilling.
INSTRUCTIONS
Initial Application
- Test current CYA level before adding product
- Shake well
- With circulation pump running, slowly pour Instant Pool Water Conditioner around the perimeter of the pool while walking around the edge. Brush to speed dispersal of the product.
- Rinse container with pool water and shake to ensure all product is removed from the bottom of the bottle.
- Pour remaining rinse solution into pool.
- Continue running circulation pump for at least 6 hours after application to ensure complete distribution
- Wait 24-48 hours before retesting CYA levels
Dosage:
Use 4 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water to raise cyanuric acid (CYA) by 1 ppm. For a 32 ppm increase, use 1 full gallon per 10,000 gallons.
Active Ingredient: Sodium cyanurate
