The Pentair R172272Z is the OEM replacement 1/2 in. x 90° NPT x tube fitting with nut for the Rainbow 300-29X Commercial Size Feeder, Rainbow 320 In-Line Automatic Feeder, and the Pentair R172627 Corrosion Resistant Flow Indicator.
IMPORTANT: TWO FITTINGS REQUIRED PER FEEDER
The Rainbow 300-29X Commercial Size Feeder and the Rainbow 320 In-Line Automatic Feeder each require 2 of this fitting — one for the inlet and one for the outlet connection. Check your quantity before ordering. The R172627 Corrosion Resistant Flow Indicator requires 1 fitting.
This 90-degree fitting routes the chemical feed tubing into the feeder body or flow indicator at a right angle, allowing correct tubing orientation within the installation. The included retaining nut secures the tubing for a leak-free connection at the fitting port. A cracked, stripped, or chemically degraded fitting can allow chlorine or bromine solution to leak at the connection point — replacing it with this OEM fitting restores a sealed, reliable chemical feed line.
