The Pentair Union Kit 2 in. I.D. (Part #270100) is the OEM replacement union kit for Pentair FNS Plus D.E., Quad D.E., and Clean & Clear Plus cartridge filters. This black, 2-inch internal diameter kit is used specifically on filter installations without a valve assembly, providing a direct plumbing connection between the filter and the return line.

IMPORTANT: NO-VALVE ASSEMBLY APPLICATIONS ONLY
This union kit is designed for Quad D.E. filter installations where no valve assembly is present. The valve assembly must be purchased separately if required. For FNS Plus filters, fitment is optional — confirm your plumbing configuration before ordering.
The 270100 union kit provides a secure 2-inch I.D. union connection at the filter's plumbing port in no-valve configurations. A properly functioning union allows the filter to be disconnected from the plumbing system for service without cutting pipe. Replacing a worn or cracked union kit restores a watertight, serviceable connection at the filter port.
