The Pentair Cord Ring (24850-0009) is the OEM replacement tank cord seal for the Sta-Rite System 3 series of pool and spa filters, designed specifically for the 25-inch filter configuration.
This cord ring seals the opening where the electrical cord exits the filter tank body, preventing water ingress at that penetration point. A degraded or cracked cord ring at this junction can allow moisture into the tank housing and compromise filter integrity — replacing it with the correct OEM part restores a proper watertight seal.
