About This Item
The Pentair 4 in. Lens Gasket (79108500Z) is the OEM replacement gasket for the SpaBrite underwater pool light. This off-white gasket seals the 4 in. diameter lens assembly, preventing water intrusion into the light housing.
IMPORTANT: LICENSED PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED
Pool lighting components operate in wet environments. Installation must comply with NEC Article 680 and be performed by a licensed electrician.
This gasket forms the watertight seal between the 4 in. lens and the light body on the SpaBrite fixture. A failed or compressed gasket allows water to enter the light housing, which can compromise the fixture and create a safety hazard. Replacing this gasket at each bulb service interval is standard practice to maintain a reliable seal.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
Inspect the lens gasket every time you replace the bulb. Even if the gasket appears intact, a gasket that has been compressed under the lens ring for an extended period will not re-seal reliably when reinstalled. Replacing this low-cost gasket at every service keeps the housing dry and protects the light fixture from water damage. Pool lighting components operate in wet environments — always ensure power to the light circuit is off and locked out before opening the light housing, and have all work performed by a licensed electrician in compliance with NEC Article 680.
