The Pentair Bottom Manifold Pipe Assembly Outlet (170035) is the OEM replacement outlet manifold and pipe assembly for the Pentair Clean & Clear Plus cartridge filter series.

This assembly fits Clean & Clear Plus filters manufactured between November 1998 and December 2000 only. Check the date stamp on your filter tank before ordering. Filters manufactured outside this window require a different manifold assembly.

The bottom manifold and pipe assembly forms the outlet pathway at the base of the Clean & Clear Plus cartridge filter, directing filtered water from the cartridge element out through the filter's discharge port. A failed or damaged manifold can cause bypassing of unfiltered water, internal pressure loss, or visible leakage at the filter base. This assembly includes bulkhead 178575 and O-rings 86006900Z and 3544571 — the complete outlet assembly ships as a single unit.

Before installing the new manifold assembly, inspect the tank's lower manifold seat for cracks, mineral scale, or deformation — a damaged seating surface can cause leaks even with a new assembly in place. The O-rings (86006900Z and 3544571) are included with this assembly; do not reuse the old O-rings. If your filter was manufactured outside the November 1998 to December 2000 window, cross-reference the part number printed directly on your existing manifold or consult your filter's exploded diagram before ordering.
