The Pentair EQ Series Strainer Basket (357184) is the OEM replacement basket for the EQ Series commercial plastic pump's hair and lint strainer housing.
Seated inside the strainer housing, this basket intercepts leaves, hair, and debris before water reaches the impeller. A cracked or warped basket allows particulate to bypass this first line of protection, exposing the impeller to debris that can reduce flow or cause mechanical wear. Replacing a damaged basket restores the strainer section to full function and maintains consistent pump performance.
